PhD student Aida Guhlincozzi (advisor: Sara McLafferty) has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship! Her project focuses on identifying spatial mismatch in healthcare accessibility for Latinx people to ethnically matching physicians in Chicago suburbs, by examining Latinx healthcare needs regarding ethnicity and language and space-time constraints.
