Geography & GIS hosted GIS Day 2017 in the Natural History Building's SESE Core on Thursday, November 16th. It was a great success, with over 20 student posters on display. Students also submitted dynamic web maps, available to view on the GIS Day website.

GIS Day participants and attendees cast votes for the poster competitions during the event, and the dynamic web maps were judged by the GIS Day Planning Committee. Here are the winners and runners-up for each competition:
